The Birmingham German Christmas Market is back in 2023 for its 23rd year! The city's iconic market, also known as the Frankfurt Christmas Market, kicked off the season's festivities on Thursday, November 2.
Last year, the cost of a pint and a bratwurst combo reached new heights at £12.50. However this year, the cost seems to have stayed steady, since rising in price since 2021.
A number of stalls throughout Victoria Square and New Street have priced bratwursts at £6, with beer priced at £6.50 a pint. Gluhwein has also stayed the same at £6. While a standard hot chocolate is also still £5, the same as in 2022.
