ITV Coronation Street star Jane Danson has declared love for her famous soap star husband - and said he "makes her laugh every year". The ITV Corrie star spoke out on Instagram, sharing a snap of Rob cheekily dressed up in I'm A Celebrity clothing pretending to wait for a "call" from Ant and Dec to compete.

Jane said: "I remind him every year, ‘you hate spiders’ and he still waits for the call @imacelebrity @antanddec haha. Seriously this makes me laugh every year ( it’s about 10 years old) I love you babe @robertbeck529." In reply, a fan said: "Rookie error - he needs a red gilet and then he’ll be on that plane."

Bex said: "Love this - Keep that bag packed, he’ll be on next year." Emily typed: "@realjanedanson @robertbeck529 the best bit is the actual phone. It’s a collector’s piece. Never stop posting this x" Dee said: "What's the call he's waiting for?" Hughes said: ""Awww! Look at that little face! Poor lad. There's always Celebrity Big Brother on the horizon... x"

"Happy birthday my love @robertbeck529," the soap star wrote, who is best known for her role as Leanne Battersby on Corrie. "And congratulations on your @emmerdale return - I owe Emmerdale a lot - 24 years of us - I love you darling." Beck, who had previously appeared on Emmerdale in 1999, expressed his excitement at returning to the soap. He said: "I am thrilled to be working on Emmerdale again, it's a great show that I have followed for years, with a fabulous cast.
